Derek Willis, ProPublica

Derek Willis is a news applications developer at ProPublica, focusing on politics and elections. He previously worked as a developer and reporter at The New York Times, a database editor at The Washington Post, and at the Center for Public Integrity and Congressional Quarterly. He began his journalism career at The Palm Beach Post. He is a co-founder of OpenElections, a project to collect and publish election results from all 50 states. This bio is available here.

Daria Grastara

Prior to her work at the NRCC, Daria served as Digital Director at FP1 Strategies, managing digital campaigns for candidates and initiatives up and down the ballot. Before FP1, Daria worked as a digital analyst on Governor Jeb Bush’s 2016 presidential campaign, managing social media, online fundraising, the official campaign store and website, and digital advertising. Daria studied Government and English at the College of William and Mary in Williamsburg, Virginia and is a (very) proud New Jersey native.
